I could definitely see myself wearing Look #9. I'm obsessed with leopard print & I'm really into maxi dresses/skirts at the moment so I think the Mink Pink Leopard Maxi Dress is perfect. I also love how it's worn with the black cutout tee to make it more casual.

Another look I Iove is Look #7. I really love the Alternative Apparel Dress. I love the tulip silhouette & how it cinches in at the waist. I'm all for accentuating my waist! :)

i absolutely love look #1 in the new girl lookbook. i love how this ensemble mixes different trends between the western-like fringe bag, animal print sweater, and aztec necklace. i also adore the boldness of the deep red pants paired with the orange tank. this outfit is something i never would have put together but now that i see it, the new girl in me would wear it without a doubt! mixing different trends, prints, and styles is something i love to do and this look completely is my style. i also love the wooden platforms and the combination of different rings - rings are my favorite accessory! winning this contest would be absolutely amazing!!

I would transition into fall and a new me with the fringe, white maxi dress by pairing it brown boots, a brown belt, and something exciting like a red handbag :)

Re said...

Well, right now, I'm in love with leopard print. They're a classic, but for some reason, I've been seeing them pop up EVERYWHERE, and I'm loving how people are styling them. One awesome take on the print is a pair of leopard print shorts, which is great! As much as I love skirts and dresses, I find shorts much more manageable and preferable for fall. So Threadsence's Lavishing Life leopard shorts definitely fit the bill here for me. The best part is the leopard print is toned down enough to really make it a fall staple.

As cliche as it sounds, I really like the colors of autumn leaves. Since the shorts take care of the brown part of the leaves, a great maroon top can cover the red. The Far From Never sweater is a nice shade that's not too vibrant and not too cool.

For outerwear, I would love to pair the top with a trendy mustard yellow vest, but Threadsence doesn't have many mustard yellow pieces. But most of their jackets could work anyway, like the long grey sweater cardigans or the Roadway Shearling jacket. I think I would have to go with the Not All Who Wander jacket though since I got a soft spot for military pieces. Even better? It would be so easy to pair a normal length grey cardigan beneath this jacket and on top of the sweater for some more heavy-duty layering!

Then I'd just let my hair down, add some simple black combat boots like the Black Wilderness pair (again, for the militaristic edge), tights or taupe socks to peek over the boots, any of Threadsence's sensible brown bags (particularly the Daily Cafe Fringe Bag), and autumn-hued scarf like the Checkmate Printed Scarf of the Radiant Sunset Scarf.

Long post is long, but I had fun with this. ;)
