Just a quick sneak peek at what I was up to during NYFW this past weekend and Monday! I put together outfits beforehand to avoid being a full-on mess. We spent every day running around from shows and events to rehearsals and blogger meet ups. It was insane, and there wasn't much time to get things together on the spot, so doing all the prep ahead of time was a total lifesaver. I was so happy with my outfit choices. Lots of color, texture, and sequins!

My first night in the city we went out on the town and hit up the Rebecca Minkoff after party. I reworked one of my favorite Free People dresses in a totally new way. I'll do an actual post on this look soon! It was the perfect outfit to dance the night away in.

We checked into the Yotel that night, which is very near Times Square. My sister and I shared an amazing room that had a stunning view of Manhattan. It was very minimalist and even futuristic, and the bed was made for late night crash parties after a long day (and night) out. I definitely want to head back to this place for a little stay-cation in the city. I felt like a tourist again and it felt great!

We got mani/pedis done for our Polyvore Live runway show, which you can now watch online here. It was such a blast being a part of this (a post on this to come!). I got hair extensions for the day and a crazy cool updo. It was nice getting dolled up for the day, especially since I am such the opposite in my beauty routine in real life.

Heading back to Lincoln Center for the Diane von Furstenburg show on Sunday was once again a heart thumping experience. The place was packed and buzzing with excitement. Just being there gave me such a thrill, but being able to sit down and watch the DVF show surrounded by so many famous fashion faces was such an honor.
I just wanted to share this little update before I dig in even deeper! Don't want to leave you hanging!
