Sweater - Old Navy, Denim Shirt - Lucky Brand, Cargo Jacket - French Connection, Pants - Zara, Bag - Rebecca Minkoff, Boots - 80%20 from CALICO
This was my first time at FDR Park (named after Franklin Delano Roosevelt). I was location scouting with my sister and friends for the Volcom shoot we were planning for, and this is where the skate park is. The place was mystical as the sun went down. Looking around, I imagined what the place was like decades ago, all horse and buggied out. Was bringing back the preppy that day, with my chambray button up and stripes. My style really is all over the place. There is no use trying to pinpoint it down, because it'll get up and run in the opposite direction in a hot second. I just knew I wanted to wear these maroon pants that I picked up from Zara the day before for $15. The color is striking enough to add something new to my closet, yet subtle enough for everyday wear. And finally brought back out my Rebecca Minkoff bag from last summer. I love this bold color much more in the fall and winter months rather than the warm weather months. Vibrancy is always the best cure when its cold out.
I'm looking forward to a super chill weekend here in Philly. I want to spend the days watching television and reading on the couch, and then dancing the night away afterwards.

Garands by Young the Giant
Was listening to the entire Young the Giant album over and over again on Spotify this past week, and this is now one of my favorite songs by them! They are definitely one of my favorite bands! I've already seen them play twice back home in Los Angeles, back when they were still known as The Jakes. Too bad their Philly show is already sold out! I keep trying to win tickets, but of course, I am really bad at those kind of text-in-to-win kind of things. Really, I just want to marry the lead singer and his voice.
