Day 2 of Chicago. Natalie and I came across Millennium Park and had fun finding endlessly amusing ways to look dorky in our reflection in the mirrored "bean" that everyone kept telling us about. This park has awesome free summer concerts, I hear as well, so I recommend checking this out if you ever make your way to Chicago in the near future. What I appreciate most about a city is not just the food, people, music scene, and culture, but also the beauty of its architecture and layout of buildings. Just standing on the street corner is a sweet treat for there are so many lovely things to take in with the eye. I kept sensing a European touch, especially around Wabash Avenue where tourists started off their boat tours of the city. The openness of the streets and the astounding skyscrapers felt magnificent. To think that there is still so much of this to explore and discover in the future. Chicago you got it going on.
