I love that when I take a picture or look at a picture, I feel something. It can be anything. A feeling supreme happiness. Sadness. A feeling of urgency or abruptness. Or something calm and peaceful and completely at ease. Sometimes you don't know what you feel at all, but you know that something is there. And so then you start to think about that, too. Just a jumble of thoughts all over the place like a dropped pile of papers. So many directions at once. As people, we are always thinking and feeling, and I love that photographs give you the ability to feel a certain something over and over again. Or to think about something in a brand new way. To contemplate every fine lined captured in a picture reveals so much more. A picture never lies.
