Higher Love

Supertrash shawl, vintage silk blouse and jeans, Free People sunglasses, Vanessa Mooney bracelets

Been on a colorful flower rampage lately. Just following what my heart feels. Or maybe it's just me counting down until spring. Regardless, I love throwing a delicate shawl over a basic look to liven things up on the spot. A red lip also helps a lot. This one from Supertrash is the shawl of my dreams. Sheer and pretty, yet also a little edgy and dark. Like my soul. Just kidding. Wait, maybe I'm not. haha.

I feel refreshed today after a well spent weekend in Philly. Saturday was a day full of relaxing in my hood with Natalie after a night out bar hopping. We explored more of the cute little side streets of Fishtown, and digging into Mexican food. So many colorfully painted walls and fences. I die around every corner! I love finding the little corners and cracks of my grungy little neighborhood that make taking a morning stroll such a delight! Saturday night my friends and I saw Ava Luna, Steven A. Clark and Twin Sister play at Johnny Brenda's. You know it's a good show when you see me dancing hardcore to every song. I can't help but move to what I love. Then Sunday a bunch of my friends and I decided to take an impromptu adventure and drove 45 minutes outside of the city to the cute little town of New Hope. This hippie town with cute little shops where you can find vintage shops, magical fairy kits, crystals, tie dye everything, incense and every kind of hot sauce imaginable was such a nice breathe of fresh air from the go, go, go of the city. And we got to stop and play with some sheep on the drive over! What could be better? xo
