Gah! Looking through these pictures taken during my last trip back home to Cali is making me miss it so much! But when am I ever not missing home? Can't you imagine? Summer in January. What is better than that?!? I frolicked on the beach outside of my hotel in Malibu before making the trek to Venice where I people watched on the boardwalk and watched all the lovely hippies make music on the street. I didn't even need a jacket! I made the most of my last day in Cali hitting up all my favorite spots on the west side. Every chance I get to go home and visit, which isn't very often, I try my best to make the most of each trip. And if that makes taking an early morning flight there and a red eye flight straight to work in Philly, then so be it.

Been feeling like quite the grunge kitten lately in floral dresses, boyish boots and choker necklaces. Being a 90s kid certainly stuck with me. Kate Moss and Drew Barrymore to Wayne's World and Destiny's Child. And don't forget Garbage or freaking Nirvana. Or Beanie Babies. The Disney Channel was SO MUCH BETTER back then. Um, hello? There was just too much cool stuff going on during this decade. Let's all just accept the fact that it will never leave us. Fine by me!
