50 States of Fashion // Philly

H&M dress and hat

Hey ya'll! I'm super excited to announce that the H&M US online shop is now officially up and running and that I am taking part in H&M's 50 States of Fashion campaign and representing Pennsylvania! Despite the fact that I no longer live in Philadelphia, PA, the city and the state hold a deep place in my heart and always will forever. I've grown to become the east coast girl I am today! Coming from the west coast, Southern California to be exact, and moving all the way to Pennsylvania was quite scary and a bit of a culture shock, but it was one that turned out to be life changing in a very positive way. I grew to love a place so different by a long shot from what I was familiar with. I grew to love and incorporate the vastness of personalities of my new home. The beards, the bros, the bike riders, the crazy traffic, the cigarette smoke and dingy bars, the delicious and extravagant food culture, the street art, the beer festivals, the boys in bands . . . and most of all some of the best friends I have ever had the chance to make.

What I loved most about Philly and PA in general was how multi-dimensional it was. You could go from a gritty, hipster ridden street corner to one of the most beautiful cobblestone street that paints up images of when the country signed the Declaration of Independence way back in the day. Philly really had it all. And it never felt too big or overwhelming, and I loved it for that. In Philly you could always relax and take things slow. It was nice. Here's to Philly and here's to PA, the state that was one huge and amazing stop and unforgettable experience that got me to the place I am now (NYC).

Use hashtag #HMShopOnlinePA to follow my fashion adventures during this campaign, all while rocking H&M :)

Follow H&M on Twitter @HMUSA and Instagram @HM and Facebook to see all the other people participating. So proud to be a part of something so phenomenal :)

Now I want to encourage all of you to be a part of this campaign too by submitting an image of yourself in an outfit that represents your personal style (preferably in H&M!) with the hashtag #HMShopOnlineXX (XX = abbreviation of your state) to win a shopping spree on H&M, as well as a trip to NYFW!

Sorry about the picture quality, but I can't find my USB chord anywhere to download the real pictures I took for this shoot, but I will be posting them on here very soon! For now enjoy pictures from my phone!
