Let me tell you this. I really am not an expert at all when it comes to looking all fine and fancy or whatever you want to call it. In any situation. My idea of fancy is a black lace dress, a plaid shirt around my waste and too dark lipstick. My boots always have tread. That's why grandparents hate me. Take it or leave it peeps. But as I get older, I find myself swaying a little more towards the more put together side of things. It's a funny thing. Aging. Am I subconsciously infusing (although at a very slow rate) the stereotype of what a real feminine woman should be like and act via her way of dressing as she gets older? I really am not sure, but this is just a theory. This skirt is definitely NOT something you'd find in my wardrobe say 2 or 3 years ago. I've never been to a tea party nor have I ever really had an urge to attend one, but I feel like this skirt would be right at home with some champagne tea and pastel cakes. Classsyyyyyyyy. I decided to give this baby a twirl and make it my own with some touches that lean more onto the dark western punk side of things. If such a side of thing exists, it may only exist in my head, but hey I make it work. Because having nothing around your neck is quite boring in my opinion. Just ask Marilyn Manson.
