Some snapshots I took of Old San Juan during my Puerto Rico trip last month. A place full of untouched history composed against what Puerto Rican culture has come to be today. It amazes me to be able to see the physicality of how a country grows and what it has developed into. The contrasts and similarities throughout time that are ever evolving. The cracked edges of buildings that give way to layers of generations before, but still room for hundreds and thousands of more layers to be added on. A place where the food never changes, but the youth dramatically does. A place where one can always look forward, but still reliably look back on.
