It's almost 2012 everyone! How crazy was 2011? This past year was so life-changing . . . so amazing. I moved to the east coast to work for one of the most awesome brands in fashion. I went to my first NYFW. I met so many out of this world, crazy cool people who I am so proud to call my best friends. I celebrated nearly over 2 years of blogging. Best of all, I had the support of my family, friends, and all of you the entire way along. But I know that 2012 is going to be even more kick ass. I feel it in my bones. I have a few more things up my sleeve that I still want to roll on out. Get ready for it.

Hope you all have an an amazing New Year's Eve tonight with the people who mean the most to you. Dance, laugh, and party the night away. Cheers to an amazing 2011 and an even better 2012 to come!

Blazer - vintage, Cashmere sweater - vintage, Shorts - Old Navy, Shoes - 80%20, Clutch - Accessorize

A little holiday party outfit from a few days ago that I put together last second. For some reason, busting out the shorts means getting dressy for me. Hey, at least they're metallic. Makes up for the major rips in my tights. I dug this old cashmere sweater up from the back of my closet back home here in Cali. Don't know whether I am more happy I have it back in my hands again or more surprised that I left it back home for so long. Gotta get my leopard printed priorities straight.

Been fully enjoying the random calmness that California has been presenting me the past few days. Not sure that I will be ready to head back to Philly just yet once Monday comes. Trying not to think about it too much right now. Looking forward so much to New Year's Eve!

Pictures from Stockholm Streetstyle

Little bits of springtime fashion are popping into my head already. It must be the sunny California weather that is doing this to me. Not that I really mind at all.

Finally had my first In-N-Out burger in 8 months yesterday and it was diviiiiiiiiiiine. Had it animal style, of course. Oh, the things that I have missed so much about California.

Jacket - True Religion, Shirt - DKNY, Leggings - Free People, Boots - Dolce Vita from Dear Fieldbinder, Bag - Moni Moni

My friend Cheryl, Natalie, and I stumbled upon this dried up corn field near Cheryl's house the weekend after Thanksgiving. The day was so warm and beautiful, and this field was too stunning to not take pictures in. Been living in this pair of cozy leggings from Free People. Gotta love a repeating reindeer print. Heck yeah.

Hope you all are having an amazing holiday. I'm so grateful to be back home with my family, even if it is just for a short period of time. We took a wonderfully long bike ride, cooked and ate our hearts out, laughed like there was no tomorrow, watched a few of my favorite movies, and listened to classic rock music (my dad and I totally brought back to life Jimi Hendrix in a day). I couldn't have asked for a more perfect Christmas day. Looking forward to a day bike riding on the beach boardwalk. Ready to get back into my Cali groove!

Omg, The Weeknd's version of Dirty Diana absolutely blows my miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiind. I can't stop playing it. I'm officially calling myself Dirty Dylana from now on.

Pictures from Studded Hearts

A pretty picture paints a dream in my head.

I'm finally back home in California for the holidays and I couldn't be happier. It sure doesn't feel like I've been away for nearly 8 months. Getting back into my Cali routine feels easier than ever. I gotta make the next 10 days last forever. I can't believe tomorrow is already Christmas Day. Time is flashing by my eyes. Going to finish up some last minute Christmas shopping today at the mall (oh how I have missed you mall), grab a coffee out, pick up some things from COSTCO to make dessert with (COSTCO is my jam), and have dinner at one of my favorite places back home. Life is feeling super simple and super sweet right now.

Song I am currently obsessed with . . .

I Need You by The Underground Youth

I think you will be quite obsessed, as well. Give it a listen.

Have a happy holidays everyone :) You rock.

Sweater - vintage, Jeans - Urban Outfitters, Boots - Dolce Vita from Dear Fieldbinder, Bag - Moni Moni

I've never been obsessed with a sweater more than I am with this one. I picked it up at our company's sample sale about a month ago. The fit is perfect. The colors are sublime. It's vintage. What more could one ask for out of a sweater? Nada. The best thing of all is that it looks really good with a deep plum lip.

I'm jumping on a plane tomorrow to head to California for a much needed mini vacation. I've got my suitcase ready full of gifts and 9 days worth of clothes. I tried to pack key items that I could also rework into other outfits, to save room, but I am not sure I did that rad of a job. Still, I could have done much worse. As long as my suitcase doesn't weigh over 50 pounds, I am all good.

Little known fact: I've been listening to Glee's version of Fun's We Are Young like an overly obsessive freakazoid. Nobody does repeat better than this girl. But here is another song of the day that will lift your spirits, I promise:

Rolling With My Homies by Tupac
