** All pictures by me
The last time I was in NYC, I spent a full day in Brooklyn with Natalie and the lovely Tanya. We started off with a savory Korean lunch at Dokebi Bar & Grill, famous for their Korean tacos and burritos (genius idea). I went to go classic and ordered my favorite dish, bibimbap. After filling our tummies with wonderful goodness, Tanya then took us to a few of her favorite place to shop and thrift at, including Beacon's Closet. The place was definitely overwhelming. Too. Many. Clothes. Everywhere. If you dig hard, you will be sure to find standout designer and vintage pieces that you won't be able to find anywhere else. It's a bit pricier than your normal thrift shop, but totally worth it. I need to make sure to head back again with more motivation to spend more than a good hour in there in rooms smothered in racks upon racks of color-coded frivolousness. And maybe after a paycheck or two, it'll seem like a much more practical idea. Williamsburg is always bustling, but without the too-in-your-face, go-go-go vibe of Manhattan. Lots of cool places to eat, shop, see bands play, and people watch. I would definitely love to live here if I ever decide to move to NYC. Until next time Burg of William . . . ciao!
P.S.
I hope you guys have been enjoying the photo diaries I have been doing lately. I just have so much fun documenting the good times I have with my friends, and I think they give you all a really accurate look at my life, from an aesthetically pleasing and creative perspective, of course. It's my dream to be able to travel and share with others what I see and enjoy, so I figure why not start here and now.

I love this, Brooklyn is just so off-beat and does it's own thing, that to me it's one of the best cities in the world.
