Been missing home and Cali like crazy lately. It's been nearly an entire year since I've been home. And the last time I saw my parents was way back in March just for a few days when they came to NYC. Moving from Cali to the east coast was definitely a bittersweet experience. But with every goodbye, there is something beautiful and new to discover. And you appreciate what you had before, and where you came from, so much more. And you never forget it. My love for Cali and my parents' beautiful home in the valley digs deep in my heart. I miss my old room and the gorgeous light that would come in every morning. The steady slowness of California suburban life, that tainted my high school years so heavily, is now a beat I sometimes crave so strongly. it's funny how things change around like that. So happy I get to go home to visit once again for Christmas this year for a few days. I'm counting down the days.
These pictures taken of Natalie and I back home by Carmen Chan for How I Met Your Style bring back a wave of nostalgia. I just had to share a few pictures with you guys again.

Aw I remember these photos! They're amazing. Hope you have a great Christmas back at home!
love the photos..
California is a really special place. Two years ago I travelled from Athens to New york and then to California..The vast space opening around me was so inspiring..And people are more laid back and open..
I loved it there!
So coming from such a place gives you a secret advantage in the big city of N.Y.
You have the whole horizon inside..You are bigger than the city..
Would love it if you come by my blogcorner for some tea and images..
have a lovely day!

Gorgeous in the first photo, and love the one of you and your sis together.
Nostalgia always hits us at the most random times, but it's great that holidays can bring the fam back together, back home.
