Banana Republic coat, H&M sweater, Gypsy Junkies skirt (DIY into a miniskirt), Natalie + Dylana Suarez x Modern Vice pumpkin Benni boots
One of the things I miss the most about California is all the WIDE OPEN SPACE to run wild and free in. You really don't appreciate all that you once had until you leave it. So much grass. So much green. So much blue sky. So much space to move it. Will Rogers Park is one of my favorite old haunts of Los Angeles. When you get to the top of the hill, you get a spectacular view of the coast. I used to hike here on the weekends when I was in school at UCLA and it was always such a refreshing break from the clustered school campus. This park is the former home of Hollywood cowboy Will Rogers and still is a ranch to many beautiful horses. One of which I think became my friend this very day. So happy that I still have California as my home. I don't know what I'd do without it. I'll actually be going back for a short visit at the end of the month for something super special. Can't wait to share :)
And here they are again! The pumpkin orange Benni boots that my sister and I designed in collaboration with the amazing Modern Vice shoe factory. How stunning are they against the green grass? They sure aren't made for hiking, but they definitely got me pretty far up that hill!
