Start of 2015 Playlist

Music is one of my greatest loves. Maybe even more so than fashion. But they really both go hand in hand for me. I grew up on classic rock and roll and soul music, but I listened to just about everything growing up as a teenager. And I always did a lot of research on up and coming bands to widen what I was listening to because what I was hearing on the radio just wasn't cutting it. For some reason, this past year I have been really getting into more chill sounds; songs I could relax to. Just as much as I like to head bang and punk out, I like to zen out and be transported to an otherworldly, dreamier place with the music I listen to. A lot of the songs below do that to me. But a lot of them also make me want to dance, which is just as important! Take a listen by clicking the songs to take you to their Spotify listening page. Let me know what you think! And I'll take any new music recommendations, of course :)

Mother & Father by Broods

Nice, I'll check these out. I'm sure you've heard of a lot of these but check out my post of my favorite albums that came out last year. Sylvan Esso, Glass Animals, Caribou, etc. Good stuff:

Also, Flight Facilities came out with a really good album last year that I didn't include. Thank you for sharing!
